On September 4^th, 2011, Wellspring Hanoi International School was honoured to welcome National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung to visit and plant memorial trees.

National Assembly Chairman was received by Ms. Nguyen Hong Phuong - Chairwoman of SSG Group, Board of Directors of SSG Education Development and Investment Joint Stock Company, School Board and all teachers and staffs of Wellspring Hanoi International School.

Academic year 2011 - 2012 is very important because it’s the first year of implementating the Resolution of the Eleventh National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam with the spirit of basic and comprehensive innovation of education and training. National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung’s visit to Wellspring Hanoi International School reaffirmed the interest of the Party and the Government for high-quality education as well as the importance of education in national development, integration and letting Vietnam "be on par with supper powers in five continents", as was the desire of the late President Ho Chi Minh.

Devoted to education and the next generation of the country, SSG Group had a strategy to build a school system in Vietnam, firstly in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City with the bilingual and high quality education model, with a comprehensive, standardized and modern program, which is updated and integrated in the advanced education in the world.

After five years of constant effort, starting from Resolution 05 and Decree 69/2008 on the enabling socialization policies for activities in areas of education, vocational education, health, culture, sports and environment, with the support of relevant ministries, Ha Noi People's Committee and Long Bien District, all leaders, officials, staffs and teachers of SSG Group and Wellspring Hanoi International School have shown great efforts in the construction from initial plan to the building of the program and teachers, with total investment up to 500 billion VND for Phrase 1.... Wellspring Hanoi International School, the first school in Wellspring school system from Primary to High School and International Foundation officially went into operation.

Wellspring Hanoi International School builds an ideal learning environment with modern spaces for learning, playing, sports and activities with special care and especially the school is covered by the green of nature. National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung has visited the classrooms, laboratories, a football field, basketball courts, a swimming pool, playgrounds, teachers and staffs’ rooms.

After visiting the school, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung and representatives of SSG Group’s leaders, Board of Directors and School Board of Wellspring Hanoi International School have planted memorial trees in the schoolyard.

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung also took time to exchange and talk with teachers and staffs working at Wellspring Hanoi International School. Although there were many difficulties in the first school year, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung highly appreciated the staffs and teachers’ hardworking spirit. National Assembly Chairman further advised: "The teachers, officials, staffs and parents are good examples for students to follow. Besides creating adequate and modern facilities, teachers need to do a good job of building a friendly and positive teaching environment, not only strive to teach well but also strive for good governance and to create best conditions for student to learn and practice".

In academic year 2011 - 2012, Wellspring Hanoi International School has classes from grade 1 to grade 9. On August 15^th, 2011, Wellspring Hanoi International School organised the opening ceremony and a member of the Party Central Committee - Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended and beat the drum to start a new school year.
