Marinas and river transportation is the new trend in Luxury Real Estate in Ho Chi Minh City now when more and more developers apply for the permission.

According to Mr Ngo Dang Qua Hai, Vice manager of water transportation management, transportation department HCMC, there are a lot of new riverside developement along Saigon river in D2 are applying for small shuttle boat docking as well as a number of developments that are applying for marina permission (BTA, Tai Nguyen..).

In the same trend, SSG Group, the developer of Saigon Pearl, also has just been approved on its plan of building a marina and river club in Saigon Pearl. This marina will rest within the project next to Tan Cang port, capable of docking up to 130 yachts, boats & canoes and will be come the first of Ho Chi Minh City.

Also according to Mr. Ngo Dang Qua Hai, the presence of marina in luxury developments not only add value but also a luxury finishing touch to be even more appealing to the upper class. Besides, the location of this marina in Saigon Pearl is also part of the future water-transportation planning of HCMC and will also play an important part in reducing traffic congestion of Ho Chi Minh City.
