On 19/08/2011 Green Energy Investment Production Joint Stock Company – one of the 23 member companies of SSG Group had just signed the “Contract of providing steam using Biomass fuel” with VINAMILK group. The source of Biomass fuel is produced at the production factories of Green Energy JSC. The steam supply system applies the advanced technologies of Europe and Japan.

With this co-operation Green Energy JSC proudly brings to VINAMILK a perfect solution to save up to 30 – 35% of fuel cost in production. According to the plan, by end of 2012 all the production plants of VINAMILK will be able to save from 200 to 250 billion VND annually.

On the other hands, this cooperation also contributes to the environment by significantly reduce emission such as CO₂, SO₂ ... and helps to reduce the using of fossil fuels. In additional, in terms of social significance the switch to alternative fuels will also help to reduce the amount of foreign currency to be spent annually to import oil while creating jobs for hundreds of domestic labor.

Before that Green Energy JSC has supplied steam and biomass fuel for a dozen of local and foreign customers.
