The ground breaking event and the announcement of contractor of ThaoDien Pearl Project were held on 25/05/2010. Attendants include Ms. Nguyen Hong Phuong – Chairwoman of SSG Group, Mr. Dinh Ngoc Ninh – Board member, CEO of SSG, Mr. Nguyen Van Doi – Director of SSG2 Construction JSC, Mr. Mark Petrovic – Technical Design Manager of Archetype Viet Nam Ltd., , Mr. Marc Townsend – General Manager of CBRE Viet Nam Ltd. and other honorable guests.

The ceremony began with a rousing lion dance to warm up the atmosphere and to bring luck to the project.

The ceremony continued as Director of SSG2, Mr. Nguyen Van Doi awarded the contract to Mr. Dinh Viet Them – GM of Thien An Infrastructure JST Co. – contractor of the project’s foundation.

Drum beats and waving flags then started the main ceremony of ground breaking, carried out by Mr. Phan Kim Son – Deputy Manager of SSG2 and Mr. Can Xuan Hung, Deputy GM of Thien An JST Co. Immediately after that, all the construction vehicles started their engines together to stir up an exhilarating atmosphere, as well as to show the enthusiasm of the construction crew.

The ceremony ended with cheerful pops of champagne bottles and confetti when all of the management board and guests toasted the success of the ThaoDien Pearl project – the pride of SSG Group.
